Super year with 240 million euro icing on the cake

The highlights of 2023: three EuroMillions SuperWins, two Joker record rounds and the first Toto 19-fold jackpot

For Austrian Lotteries, 2023 draws to a close with an unprecedented balance of winners. There is not just one outstanding highlight, but a whole slew of them.First, there was the EuroMillions super win of 240 million euros that catapulted a win2day user to the top of the list of the highest gaming winnings in Europe on December 8, 2023.

Second, there was the EuroMillions round at the beginning of August, in which 72 million euros were won and 38 Austrians became millionaires in one fell swoop.

Third, there was the player from Upper Austria who won around 27.5 million euros in EuroMillions in mid-September with the “5 plus 2 correct numbers” tier. 

In fourth place are the first two six-fold jackpots in Joker history, in which first a player from Tyrol won 1.462 million euros in February and then a player from Lower Austria won 1.467 million euros in November, setting a new winning record.
And finally there was the first 19-fold Toto jackpot, which a player from Vienna finally scored at the beginning of December, winning around 277,000 euros.
