MAGICAL MOMENTS AT THE FAIRYTALE SUMMER IN LOWER AUSTRIA

Families supported by Caritas enjoyed a break from their everyday lives at the Fairy Tale Summer (Märchensommer) in Lower Austria.

The Fairy Tale Summer in the northern part of the Weinviertel region has been offering high-quality travelling theatre for families for many years. In the framework of the cooperation with Austrian Lotteries, residents of the mother-child houses Immanuel and Frida of Caritas operated by the Archdiocese of Vienna have been invited to immerse themselves in a world of fairy tales for an afternoon and enjoy the ambience and musical performances since 2011.

This year, Austrian Lotteries once again surprised the residents of these mother-child houses with this summer highlight. Thanks to the lovingly presented staging, the Lower Austria Fairy Tale Summer once again offered the families in its care many magical moments and a welcome change from their everyday lives for an afternoon.
