Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries: monitoring and recertification audits successfully completed in 2024
The audits for the areas of Compliance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Responsible Gaming and Anti-Corruption were conducted by external auditors and completed successfully.
The Casino Austria and Austrian Lotteries Group regularly undergoes extensive monitoring and re-certification audits, especially in the areas of Security (data protection as well as information security), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Compliance, Responsible Gaming and Quality Management.
This year, the audits included the Compliance Management System (monitoring audit according to ISO 37301), Anti-Corruption (monitoring audit according to ISO 37001), Corporate Social Responsibility, a monitoring audit according to ONR 192500, the monitoring audit according to the Responsible Gaming Standards of the European Casino Association (ECA) and the recertification audit according to the European Lotteries Certification Framework. To this end, the casinos and WINWIN outlets were audited in August and September, and in October additional areas of the company headquarters as well as a retail outlet in Vienna were audited.
The overall result confirmed that the Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries Group works in accordance with all established standards in all areas and was thus successfully re-certified according to the European Lotteries Certification Framework and found to be 100 percent compliant with it. This year, the recertification in accordance with the Responsible Gaming Standards of the European Lotteries was carried out for the sixth year in a row.
Erwin van Lambaart, Director General of the Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries Group, had this to say: “Of course, we’re also particularly pleased with the auditors’ feedback that it is clearly recognisable in our companies that we constantly continue to develop and grow, and that we are not satisfied with the status quo. For us as a licensed gaming company, correct game processing, an anti-money laundering management system, a high level of data protection compliance and the highest security standards for all players are essential prerequisites – this is a goal that has been externally confirmed once again and that our employees support 100 percent. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks for this as well.”
