Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries have once again been certified as leading companies

For decades, the Casinos Austria Group has been a responsible partner within Austrian society, going well above and beyond its core area of gaming.

Companies that focus on sustainable success rather than short-term profits, that take responsibility for society and that have a positive impact on regional development through their economic activity – these are the key criteria for Leitbetriebe Austria to award “Leading Company” certificates to companies operating in Austria. These traits fully apply to Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries, which is why both companies have been officially recognised as leading Austrian companies for many years.

Following a comprehensive qualification process, the certification of Casinos Austria and Austrian Lotteries was renewed for 2025. A total of 21 companies were certified or re-certified, and the following common features were confirmed at the Leitbetriebe Austria annual kick-off event in mid-January: “Each of these companies stands for outstanding quality, corporate responsibility and innovation. They’re role models and ambassadors for a strong, future-oriented economy.” Monika Rintersbacher, Managing Director of Leitbetreibe Austria, presented the recertification documents to Casinos Austria’s Director General Erwin van Lambaart at the event.

For van Lambaart, this distinction has a particularly high relevance at the moment. “The history of our Group also tells a story of reliability and stability. We are active on many levels, for the benefit of Austrian society: with our twelve casinos, we are a driving force for development and job security in the respective regions, and with our lottery products, we contribute to local supply for more than 5,000 sales partners. This is all embedded in a variety of partnerships in the areas of social welfare, culture and sports. I’m proud that our exemplary role as a leading Austrian company has been recognised."
