Lotteries Day at the kärnten.museum on May 17
Every receipt, every lottery ticket is a winner: they will open the doors to the kärnten.museum in Klagenfurt on Friday, May 17, 2024.
Even if the winnings from the Lotto, the scratch-off tickets and other lottery games did not lead to the desired results, the receipts and tickets will still be of value on Friday, May 17: that is the day on which they are valid as admission tickets and allow you to visit the kärnten.museum in Klagenfurt free of charge.
At the Kärntner Landesmuseum, tradition meets modernity, young meets old... this year in more than one way: first, the Kärntner Landesmuseum has been one of the most beautiful historicist buildings in Klagenfurt since 1884, and as the kärnten.museum it has been one of the most modern museums in Austria for two years. Second, this year’s Lotteries Day is dedicated to the topic of age and youth discrimination and aims to counteract prejudices relating to youth or age.
The museum is open on Lotteries Day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and offers a range of different guided tours. Detailed information on the programme and the tour dates can be found at lotterientag.at as well as at landesmuseum.ktn.gv.at.
